We are really excited to bring in a fabulous new yarn from TOFT UK.
Toft's DK yarn is a luxurious soft and lofty wool yarn that is spun in Yorkshire, England from a selection of the finest British wools.
TOFT is best known for their delightful amugurumi crochet kits using their DK weight wool. The Edward's Menagerie collections of crochet animal patterns form part of the extensive Toft design collection.
We were originally interested in the TOFT collection because we love wool and this was the first amurugumi kit collection that we found that used wool rather than cotton yarn. (We are very fond of cotton as well, but the elasticity of wool makes it so much more delightful for the knitting and crochet experience.
Now that we have gotten our hands on this fantastic wool, we have fallen head over heels in love with it for knitting as well.
With our first order, we have just dipped our toes in the water with a small sample of kits and of 25 gram skeins of the DK wool in a wide selection of colors. Please check out our starter collection and tell us what you think.
There are Aran and Chunky weight version so the yarn available in natural colors in 100 gram skeins and we would love to bring those into our store if you find this yarn as irresistible as we do.
